Mercedes Benz Berlin Fashion Week: Spring/Summer 2012 Part I

From July 6th - July 9th, fashion designers, junkies, reporters, and celebrity guests will be flocking to Berlin, Germany to catch a glimpse of what fashion statements are to come for Spring/Summer 2012 fashion. Today I'll be taking a look at some of my favorite designs from yesterday (July 6th).
Designer: Michael Sontag

Sontag started Berlin's fashion week with his signature flowy cuts and draping. The composite of cashmere, wool, and silk formed an exquisite look for the modern woman. As shown in the runway video above, Michael Sontag used earthy tones such as muddy browns, toned golds, and softened lime greens. Yet, added pure whites and pinks. I personally adore this collection because I love adding a pop of bright colors to neutral ones.
Recreating my favorite look:
Dress in Michael Sontag style by wearing earthy tones with a pop of color add a pair of open toe heels and you're good to go! (Washed Silk T-Shirt - $189, Skirt Jude Deluxe Silk - $130, & Crisscross Slingback Heels - $26.80)

Designer: Diesel

Diesel's Spring/Summer 2012 collection demonstrates the youthful, playful side of a woman. This collection of prime casual wear shows off some key trends of Spring/Summer 2012 such as bright colors and denim. Diesel really is metamorphosing into the casual wear world.
Recreating my favorite look:
Look like a well-polished yet playful woman and wear a bright colored blazer or jacket like the Coral Shoulder Detail Jacket from Top Shop - $110, a dark t-shirt like this dark-blue Classic Muscle Jersey T-Shirt by Alexander Wang - $80, beige or cream shorts paired with a black belt like DKNY Stretch Linen Blend Shorts - $74 with Braided Skinny Belt from Nasty Gal - $18, a pair of tie-up wedges or heels like these Suedette Lace Up Wedges - $29.80, and to complete this ensemble carry a gold clutch near to the Menbur Brass Clutch - $144.

Designer: Dimitri
Dimitri graced the Berlin runway with feminine designs that devise an elegant yet seductive energy. Figure-hugging ensembles in white, cream, and bright orange, show the vigor of Italian fashion. The Dimitri collection evokes glamor and sex-appeal, essential for every woman.
Recreating my favorite look:
This white on white outfit radiates beauty and seductiveness. Try it yourself by wearing Knot-Detailed Silk-Twill Top by Zac Posen - $241, a Dorothy Perkins White Sateen Blazer - $79, Gemma High Waist Cut Out Short - $65 paired with a black skinny belt like this Black Horseshoe Skinny Belt - $8, Jessica Simpson Tookie Black Patent Heels - $80, and a Black Patent Piped Clutch bag - $16.
There are my three favorite looks out of yesterday's runway shows at Mercedez Benz Berlin Fashion Week. Tomorrow I'll be covering the look's from today's shows.
