This Just In : Alexander McQueen's will revealed.

Late fashion designer, Alexander McQueen
Last night, the late fashion designer, Alexander McQueen's will was made public. Most of his $27 million fortune was left to his charity, Sarabande. He also hoped that some of his fortune would go towards creating scholarships at his alma mater, Central St. Martin's College of Art and Design.

Other charities such as the Terrance Higgins Trust, Battersea Dogs and Cats Home, the London Buddhist Center and the Blue Cross sick animal center in Oxfordshire received donations as well.

McQueen also left a large sum of money to his three sisters, two brothers, his godson, nieces and nephews, his housekeepers (one who discovered McQueen's body in his London home last year), and even his pet dogs.

Tuesday's Trends : Star Pattern

Celebrities have been stary-eyed for Dolce & Gabbana's Fall 2011 runway signature pattern, stars.
Featured at Milan Fashion Week, the star pattern has been red hot on the red carpet. Celebrities such as Rosario Dawson, Solange Knowles, Evan Rachel Wood, and Lily Allen have been sporting D&G's star print chiffon dresses, strapless dresses, and pants.

Want to wear the star pattern?
Here are three more affordable ways to wear the star pattern.

Casual Chic
Top, Pants, Pumps, Bag
This fun-n-chic outfit features the black and white look much like the D&G Fall 2011 runway fashions. Wear a black t-shirt with white star pattern, a white skinny leg jean, black pumps, and a white bag to complete the outfit.

Fancy Fun
Blazer, Shirt, Pants, Shoes, Bag
This Solange Knowles inspired outfit showcases a simple, yet trendy way to wear star pattern - by adding a black blazer over a white button down shirt, black patent platforms, and a clutch bag with a chain strap to star print pants you'll be ready to go to an event or out to dinner in this versatile outfit.

Boho Mod
VestDress, Wedges, Bag, Bracelet
Be ready to go out to lunch in a star pattern maxi dress. Create a boho-chic vibe while wearing a crochet vest over the maxi dress, espadrilles, and accessorize with a cross body bag and plenty of bangles.

This Just In: Forever21 Opening in London

Forever21 has become a popular store in the U.S. and other European countries. This has inspired a new site opening on Oxford Street in London. Now Forever21 will have to compete with other big names in London such as Primark, H&M, and New Look. London is expecting positive remarks from fashion-savvy natives.

The store is set to open it's doors next Wednesday, the chain also plans to create more stores throughout the UK in the future.

Celebrity Style Sunday : Comic-Con Edition

On July 22, 2011 stars flocked to San Diego, California for the annual Comic-Con conference.

I chose three of my favorite outfits from the night - Jessica Biel in a hand-painted data board, silk crepe, crop top with confetti bouclé shorts by Christian Cota and sported Christian Cota's Aldo heels as well. The stunning, brunette, Kate Beckinsale wore Tibi top and shorts with Christian Louboutin pumps. Twilight's, Nikki Reed looked feminine in a D&G black-silk blend dress with multicolored floral print and black pumps.

Recreating the look:
Now I'll recreate the 3 looks for cheaper!

Jessica Biel - Feminine Casual
Tank, Shorts, Heels, Bracelet
At the Comic-Con, Jessica Biel who usually wears gowns and appears more polished on red carpets went with a casual look. Wear a drapey chiffon tank that looks great with pale, peach-pink shorts with gem embellishment and complete the look with strappy, gray heels and a silver bracelet.

Kate Beckinsale - Polished In Black
Dress, Pumps, Bracelet, Belt
Kate Beckinsale always impresses when she steps on the red carpet. To recreate Kate's outfit and look as posh as she does, wear a black jersey wrap dress with a black belt, a pair of black pumps and a silver cuff bracelet.

Nikki Reed - Floral Beauty
Dress, Heels, Bag, Necklace
Nikki Reed goes for the girly, romantic look wearing this D&G floral print dress. To look like Nikki did at the Comi-Con wear a navy blue dress with an elegant floral print with Steve Madden pumps that heave crystal embellishment on the heel. I wanted to add a little spice to this outfit by adding some accessories such as a feathered necklace and a black cross body bag. This outfit is feminine, edgy, and boho all at once!

My find of the week is this kimono featured at Topshop for $100. This item is a little more pricey than I would want it to be but I love the versatility of this kimono. You could wear it many different ways, in different styles.

This outfit is perfect for summer - wear a white tank tucked into a pair of khaki cargo shorts with suspenders (or without if you please), a pair of classic crochet shoes - crochet is hot this summer, and a pair of cat-eye sunnies another hot item this summer. Slip on the kimono and you're ready to go!

Bohemian Chic
Kimono, Dress, Sandals, Bag, Bracelets
Another impeccable outfit for summer - wear the kimono over the new summer trend the maxi dress, sport a pair of gladiator sandals, a black tote bag, and a set of eye-catching glittery bangles to execute the look.

Beach Beauty
Kimono, Bikini, Flip Flops, Hat
Appear flirty and feminine in this black lace bandeau bikini, a curved-brim style straw fedora hat, and gloss colored flip flops. For a cover-up wear the butterfly print kimono.

Keep Cool, In Style

For the past few days, it's been impossible to escape this heat wave that's been cast upon New York and the boiling heat refuses to simmer. Here's how to stay comfortable, cool, and fashionable in this unbearable July heat.

At the beach or pool.
    summer style
    Bandeau Bikini, Sarong, Sunglasses, Espadrilles
This outfit features the white on white and cat-eye sunglasses trends, which are elegant and chic looks for summer. A sarong adds a feminine feel to the bikini and the look is finished with a pair of classic espadrilles.

    At an outdoor event.
Crop top, Shorts, Sandals, Bag, Bracelets
Look summer-time fine at an outdoor concert, picnic, etc. in a leopard print crop top, cut-off shorts, gladiators (a classic summer fave), and top it all off by wearing bangle bracelets and sporting a cross body bag.

      At a party.
        Dress, Boots, Clutch, Belt
Go to a party looking chic in this SHAKUHACHI tunic dress embroidered with lace worn with a brown skinny belt. Wear with a pair of leopard Litas by Jeffrey Campbell and a bright colored clutch to finish the look.
